Terms of Service

Carefully Read the Terms of Service that governs this blog.  By interacting with my blog (reading and/or providing feedback/comments), you agree to certain conditions and policies.  Google, as corporate owner of blogger, explains the "Terms of Service" in much detail (issues regarding privacy, copyright protection, and security) at the webpages listed below.

I would like to thank those of you who have taken the time to read my blog, and I want you to be well informed of governing rights.  Some of you may not be familiar with the policies of the corporate body related to readers / interactive users of my blog.  So far, there have been many readers, but no one has yet commented.  Hopefully, after you feel comfortable about the "terms of service", you will begin to provide me with feedback.  Your comments about my blog will assist me in providing better information (a more informative and entertaining blog) for us "chocolate connoisseurs" - your thoughts and comments are most welcomed!

Below I've summarized some of the important "terms of service" issues for your quick review.
  • Information Usage: You retain ownership of any comments that you submit - your comments are considered "intellectual property" and these ownership rights (your WORDS) belong to you.  When visiting the website, cookies are used to collect information - this tool is widespread throughout the WWW; cookies are basically utilized for advertising purposes.
  • However, you agree to corporate licensing that allows management to reproduce (publishing your comments) and modify your comments, such as via translating your comments into another language; you allow the public distribution of your comments via the Internet.
  • Security and Privacy: Encryption is used to protect users from unauthorized actions, and information is restricted on a "need to know" basis within the corporate environment; and other security tools are incorporated to guard against malicious software, fraudulent acts and identity theft.  If there is a breach of security on the website, the matter will be thoroughly investigated and problems will be repaired quickly to maintain a safe Internet experience for interactive users of my blog.

Now that the formalities are out-of-the-way, my next blog posting will be quite entertaining.  I look forward to your comments.  Thanks again.
