There are times when even chocolate can not soothe the pain of an Unjust Judicial System, faltering when it should be strong
Trayvon Martin was a young, black teenager walking home to his father's house at night from purchasing snacks at the neighborhood corner store. Martin was minding his own business, talking on his cell phone like most teenagers WHEN he was followed in a car and then physically approached by George Zimmerman, who was carrying a gun (Zimmerman shot and killed Trayvon Martin, an unarmed teenager).
There was NO probable cause for Zimmerman to follow the young teenager, as the teenager was only walking home on a rainy night. (The hoodie that Martin wore covered his head in the night rain.) Zimmerman was instructed NOT to pursue the teenager, but he did not comply; Zimmerman was the aggressor - causing havoc on what would have been a quiet night in the neighborhood.
Young Martin called for help when he realized there was a man with a gun pursuing him, but no one came to his aid (even though neighbors heard his call for help - 911 telephone calls alerted police).
A trial has taken place in America and George Zimmerman was found NOT guilty for killing a young, black teenager. Trayvon Martin could NOT defend himself in court and could NOT tell the world of the events that unfolded on that rainy night.
Today, there has NOT been any justice for Trayvon Martin in America - TRAYVON WAS INNOCENT! The court verdict in the Zimmerman trial is absolutely APPALLING! There is protest of this unjustness on the streets of America - many Americans are outraged about this tragedy of justice.
And, the world is watching America, as the "ugly head of racism is raised high!"
Another black child has been unjustly killed - and the judicial system has failed again!
